"What on Hoth are you thinking? Never cover data trailss with a falsse accesss redundancy report!" The runt hissed loudly while he furiously pounded away at Cryo's confiscated keyboard. The Devronian had just made a near-critical error on his extraction prodcedure that his partner had failed to pick up on. In the end, the runt had stepped in and bailed him out.

On the surface, Koyle was furious that someone could make such a novice mistake, but deep inside, he didn't mind jumping in to help at all. He had been getting extremely fidgety sitting on the sidelines and watching. The slicer inside of him wanted to get in on the action, to help spread his master virus. He knew what kind of pleasure the phreaks must have been getting from this incision, and he wanted a piece of that. The chance to yell at Cryo was also a plus. He had been asking for it since the beginning, so Koyle yelled some more.

After twenty minutes of slicing, the business attacks were finally completed. An hour of torturous, tedious downtime was to follow while the viruses set themselves up for their first run. During this time, conversation kept hushed. Shaggy and Kamo secluded themselves in the corner discussing alternative courses of action should the virus fail, which in turn set Koyle to thinking. Between bites of food that Gabble had thoughtfully brought back with her, the runt wondered what he would do if they were caught. It didn't take him long to realize that there would be no real change to his plans. He was already wanted planetwide. Another crime on his record would hardly make a difference.

A few minutes before the virus was set to activate, the group of phreaks began to huddle around Sear's terminal, which had been set up to monitor reports concerning the individual bugs. While the rest crowded, Koyle took a spot of honor nearer the terminal itself so that he could monitor what his electronic children were doing.

When the viruses kicked in, they went to work with Dix'xr efficiency. In his head, Koyle was able to visualize the bugs thanks to his DICAU unit, mentally viewing the sleek virii in action. Six minutes later, Sear came away with a final report. Half were still clean and undetected, the other three were detected in some way but might, if need be, hold up for another run. Cryo, as usual, pushed for them to get to the point.

Sear complied. 841,640 credits. Koyle had just made 841,640 credits in one day. While the rest whooped and yelled in joy, the runt sat back and smirked. His life had been dotted by minor electronic criminal offenses, but this was by far his largest. 841,640. The number just kept running through his head.

Eventually he was sure to get drawn into the celebration, which he would have to nervously participate in, just like the celebrations on Hewe. Of course, it would all be better once he saw his cut of the profits.

"Well, you're free." The runt muttered quietly, knowing that very few, if anyone, would hear him. A little grin played across his face even as he did so. He'd done it.
